AirPods Max: Release date and price:
According to a press release, the Apple AirPods Max will be launched on 15 December 2020. While the AirPods max is double the price of the AirPods Pro, it must be kept in mind that your chances of dropping them down a gutter or on a subway railway line will become infinitesimally smaller.
AirPods Max: Features:
“AirPods Max feature a 40-mm Apple-designed dynamic driver that provides rich, deep bass, accurate mid-range, and crisp, clean high-frequency extension so every note can be heard. A unique dual neodymium ring magnet motor allows AirPods Max to maintain total harmonic distortion of less than 1 percent across the entire audible range, even at maximum volume,” reads the Apple press release.
“Equipped with an Apple-designed H1 chip in each ear cup, a custom acoustic design, and advanced software, AirPods Max uses computational audio to deliver the highest-quality listening experience possible. Utilizing each of the chips’ 10 audio cores — capable of 9 billion operations per second — computational audio powers a breakthrough listening experience that includes Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and spatial audio.”
How to pre-order your AirPods Max
Currently, you can only pre-order AirPods Max directly from Apple, which will begin shipping orders on the official 12 December release date.
Unlike previous AirPod models, you can choose between five colors: Space Gray, Silver, Green, Sky Blue, and Pink. For those who like a customized touch or if you’re picking them up as a gift for someone special, you can also add engraving free of charge.
When it comes to payment, instead of paying the $549 upfront, Apple Card Holders can pay in six monthly installments of $91.50 at 0% APR.
